Original Design The client reached out with the desire to redesign their company logo and brand packaging(seen left). They are a skincare brand that specializes in products used by those that fish.
Brand Analysis After visiting with the client and viewing their website, I created a moodboard to represent them during the design process. They would like their logo to better represent their company while also having a more modern look — “strong” and “simple” are something to be kept in mind. They are wanting a label that is less visually busy than their current packaging that appeals to a variety of possible customers.
Sketching A series of handsketches from the early stages of development.
Digital Development A series of digital versions of both the company logo and product label.
Primary Logo To be used on various packaging and products as the main identifier of the brand. The primary logo has two versions — one in which the logo is the positive space and one in which it carves out the negative space.
Secondary Logo To be used on various packaging and products as an additional brand identifier. Similar to the primary logo, there are two versions of the secondary — playing with the positive and negative space within the logo.
Sub Mark To be used on various products and packaging as an additional brand mark when the space does not allow for the full primary logo. Just as the primary and secondary logos have two versions, the sub mark does as well.
Typography The primary brand font is FinalSix Heavy and the secondary brand font is FinalSix Medium.
Color Palette The primary brand color is a dark navy blue. The secondary brand colors is are a pale blue-white and a neon green. The accents colors are a lighter navy blue and a lighter green.
Product Label A mockup of the redesigned label of their main product “Sump’N Fishy.”
Business Cards A mockup of the business cards.
